Roses for Noses

It seems to be that the most fragrant of the roses bloom with the lilacs to just make going outside on a warmish (for us, that means above 45) day a treat for the senses

'Lyda Rose', above and below.  Cutting grown, no water or fertilizer.  I'm afraid to do either, else it might just eat the dairy barn garage (it has a twin on the other side of 'Alchymist')

'Alchymist', above and below showing the stages of bloom.  Knock-you-out scent on this treasure

'Michelle du Pre', showing pink in the cool weather, pure white when it warms up.  Always the first to bloom, and I don't even need to see the bloom to know it's there, it's that fragrant
