My sister in law Steph is a major antique buff who has been a dealer off and on for years. She's recently taken it back up again and has a booth at a local antique mall in Santa Maria/Orcutt. We went to go do a little work on the booth (well, Steph, anyway) as well as pick up the week's receipts and give me a chance to do a little sightseeing. To put the icing on that cake, we took her 50th birthday present that my bro Stan built for her, her beloved Meyer Manx dune buggy. Note to self - next time you're going to an antique mall where you might buy 3 framed pieces of art, don't bring the buggy. But, it all worked out in the end and the cherry on top of the icing was a run to In-And-Out burger for a #3 and a strawberry shake. Yeah, baby!
Don't forget to click the pix!

Steph's booth. The big pix of the red buildings at the top of the booth along with two smaller companion pictures by Gene Pelham, 'Peaceful Waters', will arrive home tomorrow. Had to ship them, no room on the plane for them
No, not the best burger, not by a mile. Great fries tho. It's just the whole experience that any visitor to California should experience
