Shades of Fall

For your enjoyment, a series of pix shot over several days in October.  It's so very hard to show the intensity of colour in the changing of the seasons with a camera, at least with a point and shoot camera, no matter how good it is.  Seeing it in real life is the only way to see it as dramatic as it is

Looking east, towards Bellfountain with the steepled white church in the centre
This hill to the SE of us always puts on a brilliant show in the fall

From the south pasture looking NW towards the big silver barn and a hole in the clouds
Looking SW towards Don's place

And then, sometimes you get a little surprise.  The RECORD high for this day was 68!
