Storm Central

While most of the country roasts, we are fielding storm after storm up here in the Pacific Northwest. Clocking close to 4" of rain this week, along with random snow, howling winds, flooding and a rare heavy snowstorm on the coast, even our pastures have standing water, which means that we got a LOT of rain with little breaks between storms rolling thru. But, the clouds part briefly from time to time, and the results are way more stunning in real life than in pix, but I took a couple for you to enjoy anyway.

Looking east towards Bellfountain, over the north pasture. This was such a cool view this morning, this picture really doesn't show it. Even Hilda the heifer seems mesmerized by it
When the sun came out momentarily, the light just goes all magical
